Needs attention but it’s from dog owners. People are not watching their dogs go to the bathroom which means they are not picking up after them. That ruins the experience for others.

The beach shares the water with the waterway in the Seddon Channel by the private airport. Super crowded for my dogs and the wash station was a disaster. I think kids let the waters run and the hoses were broke.

This is a family favorite. The kids can play as well as the dogs then we can take a walk together looking over the pond.

Best beach for families with dogs. You can hang out with the kids and let the dogs run or go fishing on the pier.

The ranger literally escorted us off the beach and to the parking lot! We went on the boardwalk and he said that was park property.

Mentor city has a lot of potential but lacks a lot for the animal community. This dog park sits under the electrical lines near the train tracks. That’s the first negative, second, it’s muddy, dreary (no lights at night). And people have no courtesy using the park. They can do so much more.
