Excellent shrimp pesto. I got a side of chicken for my dog and she loved it too.

I had the steak for lunch and it was cooked to perfection. The dessert Pots de Crème were to die for. My waiter Chad was awesome.

I called to make sure I could get a table and their automated line said only service animals are welcome. But I found an excellent alternative around the corner at Village Tavern, an upscale American Style restaurant.

This was my third night in a row in a Tru during a relocation trip with my dog. The location was not ideal away from I-95 but still the closest Tru to where I was headed. The cell and internet were down for the entire city but the staff still checked us in to our room and gave us directions and local information. The room was clean, the breakfast nice. I got one of the big rooms and that makes all the difference. My dog always felt welcome and other guests were always pleased to see her.

The rooms have been clean, and the staff great. I’ve been able to get the big room with a king and they are very spacious. The regular rooms can feel a bit cramped, but still comfortable. The breakfast is great, the pet friendliness is amazing. We’ve run into lots of people with dogs.

The hotel was clean, breakfast good, very nice all around stay. I was there a couple of nights and it was a great place to have my dog.

The place is disgusting. The walls and carpet on the 4th floor look like one of those hourly hovels in the movies. The tub was stained and chipped. And the bed stunk, the pillows smelled like dirty people’s heads. To show up at this hotel after hours and hours of driving and with a 4 Bones rating was horrifying. The gentleman at the front desk, Gerald, was super sweet and accommodating and gave me a refund. I went and stayed somewhere else. This place put me off Holiday Inns forever.

I booked this last minute after a horrible experience at another hotel. The place was clean, very dog friendly and the staff extremely kind and accommodating. I like the chain and I’m staying there at my next stop.
