We needed to spend a night in Concord and the Comfort Inn served us well. A bit dated but generally clean and comfortable with reasonable rates, a pleasant staff, and grassy areas nearby for the dog.

This hotel is situated just across the street from the Riverwalk and in close proximity to most everywhere else you’d want to go as a tourist in Chicago. Our room on the 33rd floor wasn’t the biggest but it was clean and comfortable with a stunning view straight down the river. Our only criticism would be how long it took for the elevator to arrive but we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Club Quarters the next time we’re in town.
Tip #1: When your dog needs a walk, turn left out of the hotel, then right across Wacker, then left across Wabash to enter the Riverwalk. You’ll find a grassy area at the bottom of the stairs. Tip #2: Self park your car. The lot is a short walk from the hotel and as long you have your ticket validated at the front desk, you’ll save ~$30 per night vs. valet parking.

This was our first time staying a My Place and we’d definitely do so again. The room was clean and bright, the staff was friendly, and the grounds were more than adequate for walking the dog. Although there’s no gym on site, Planet Fitness has a nearby location. Highly recommended.

This was our second time staying at the Country Inn in Beckley, which is in a good location for our northward travels out of Raleigh. Friendly staff, clean rooms, decent breakfast, and dog-walkable surroundings have made this a good choice for a night’s stay.

Convenient, comfortable, and clean hotel with ample dog-walking lawns all around the property. Easy to recommend.

Immaculate hotel with comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, super friendly staff, and breakfast offerings that are well above average.

This hotel probably peaked when Carter was president but despite its funky condition, the room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and our dog was welcome.

The Elkton La Quinta is a clean, modern, dog-friendly place to stay. For those inclined to exercise, the workout room was well above average.

We spent one night at the Red Roof Inn Plus+ on our way home from a long road trip. The staff were friendly and the room was fresh and clean with an excellent shower. The dog walking area wasn’t the most generous but we made it work. All in all, we gladly recommend this hotel.

I never know quite what to expect when booking a beside-the-highway hotel. The Sleep Inn exceeded nearly every expectation. The room was very nice, the staff was extra personable, and the expansive lawn in back was a hit with our dog. All in all, highly recommended +++

With the motel adjacent to and interstate off-ramp and sharing the same property as two or three truck stops, our hopes weren’t very high. So it came as a pleasant surprise to find a place that was modern, very clean, and staffed by the friendliest of folks. Super dog friendly, too. Speaking of which, walk your dog over by the McDonalds across the road where the grass and landscaping are nicer than anywhere else nearby. All in all, we highly recommend the Super 8.

Well situated for our drive from Indiana to Denver. Friendly interactions with the staff and multiple restaurants a short walk away.
