Retired couple with 2 y.o. Cattle dog

We just happened upon this restaurant. The food was very tasty and the server was attentive, bringing a fresh bowl of cold water for the doggos. Parking could be hard to find if the surrounding shops are busy.

Today was our second visit to this dog park. It's spacious (2 large areas) and relatively clean The water fountain was on the fritz so bring water. Highly recommend stopping here!

We used this a halfway stop of a road from Montana to Washington (state). There were two fenced areas with grass, shade and water, but those are the only pluses. The areas were the same size and there was no indication regarding dog sizes for either side. People chose where they felt like going so small/reserved dogs could be mixed with big/active dogs. Owners were not always good about cleaning up after potty jobs, so the grass hid “surprises.” It was a huge tourist trap, and barely worth the effort. Too bad…

We stopped in Dell, MT but couldn’t find Jan’s Cafe. We saw the marquee sign from the highway but sadly no business at the address. Who knows…

The fenced area is 5+ acres with a pathway around the perimeter, a shelter with benches, trash/waste disposal and water nearby. Thereare surrounding trails that are supposedly on-leash but nobody seems to care. Notmuchshade except for the shelter, but definitely a good place to run.

Two large, well fenced areas (both large and small dogs) with gravel and grassy areas, shade trees, a picnic shelter, water (fountain, hose and “soaking” tubs, as well as ADA restrooms and ample parking. I would use it often if I lived here!

We drove from the Seattle area (about 90 miles) just to visit this dog park, and it was well worth it! The fenced off park is OK, fairly spacious and easy to play in, BUT THE OFF-LEASH TRAILS are what makes this an amazing OLA! We hiked for 2 hours and had such a good time - the only complaint is that the trails are shared with mountain bikers, so if your pooch is a bike chaser then this is a no-go. Our two kiddos had a blast running through the wooded trails and splashing in the creeks we discovered. The trail system is more than you can walk in an afternoon unless you're a speedy trail runner. I'd give this more than 5 bones if I could!

This is a great park that just gotten better over the years! Although the play area is smallish, access to Lake Washington is superb. Dogs can walk in and just stand in the water, or take the plunge. It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot (which is smallish). There are trash receptacles and poop bags all around the park, and a rinsing station outside of the dog park. A definite destination if you're in the area.
This is a beautifully maintained but small park of Highway 101. It is grass with a couple of trees and shrubs for shade, and there is water, trash, poop bags and benches available. It's adjacent to an industrial area so not quiet, but that didn’t stop or dogs from enthusiastic play. Thumbs up!

It's a bit out of the way, but worth the drive if you’re on Whidbey Island! Depending on the tide there can be a big, expansive beach to run around. The fountain/washing area was not working, so bring your own water (it’s a salt water beach so beware of your pooch drinking a lot ). Parking was limited but there were lots of poop bags and garbage cans available. We were there on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn’t crowded. My two hooligans had a great time running on the beach and in the water.

We stopped with our two doggies. It’s November and has been raining, but the grass and sandy soil absorbed the water well. It a BIG area with lots of running room, poop bags in multiple spots and several water faucets and bucket. Definitely a good stop on our trip to the Oregon coast. Well done Longview!

This park looked great - good fencing, nice location. But it was closed and locked tight. A sign explained it was closed due to “conditions of the park.” It wasn’t evident what those conditions may be, and there was no indication when it might reopen. Too bad…

A big nope for this park. It’s extremely hard to find, we never saw the fenced off areas. The park is huge and sprawling, and we saw many off leash dogs all over. The frisbee golf course was interspersed in the dog area. Unless your dog has perfect recall and/or you find the actual fenced off areas, this park is not for you. Better directions should be posted. Too bad, we needed a good spot to burn off some energy.

We stopped by while traveling. This park is enormous! There were multiple (half a dozen?) large fenced areas, all grassy and very clean. You can pick a busy area or a less chaotic spot, whatever suits best. There are poop bags, trash cans, and plenty of water dishes all around, and parking was plentiful. It’s probably hot and busy during the summer months, but it was very pleasant and worth the stop this afternoon. Well done, Richland, WA!
