This was my last stay on my cross country trip (thank heavens). I've given my scores not on the plushness but on how the hotel and employees deal with 2 large dogs, one is a 158 lb puppy. The only negative point is the area you walk your dog; there wasn't much area, only the hill between hotel and road, and it was too steep. Besides that good mattress, it was clean and dog friendly.

I'd like to thank Quality Inn and BringFido. The night before I was tired and checked into the first pet friendly hotel I could find. I'll never do THAT again (stay away from Motel 6 in Springfield Ill). Thank heavens for Quality inn in Effingham. It was clean, good mattress, lots of clean grass to walk dogs, and the gentleman at the desk was friendly and helpful. Restored my faith in humanity 😉

I'm not looking for the Ritz but having 2 mastiffs some people just look at there size and shake their heads. Not here. Very friendly at the front desk. They offer a large place to walk dogs. They have a very clean laundry, clean rooms, good mattress, and they didn't come to complain when one of my dogs occasionally let out one of those barks that shakes the walls.

Traveling cross country with 2 huge dogs isn't the easiest (one is an adolescent). The people working at this establishment didn't blink an eye, very welcoming and helpful. I wasnt looking for the Ritz, I just needed somewhere with a good mattress, was clean, and had enough room to walk my dogs and space to park a trailer. They offered that and beyond.
