We went to Hugo’s on the Rocks on March 16, 2025, and were turned away because our small (12 pounds) and well-behaved dog is not a service dog. The person at the check-in stand claimed it was a health department requirement, but that can’t be right because another place across the street had no problem accommodating us.

Server brought water for our dog, along with waters for us; another worker asked if he could bring our dog a piece of bacon, and the restaurant provides an opportunity to donate to the local Humane Society when paying. Oh, and the food and service were EXCELLENT!
