If you were looking for someplace to access water this isn’t it. The conservationist have destroyed the beach and made it four small mud pits with sticky smelly mud. Dangerous for dogs who might want to get out around the jettie. Paths are ok. But near water so very buggy.

This is an outdoor shopping mall with no trees or shade for you to leave pets when shopping. It gets really crowded and folks are stressed making dogs stressed. These are not quaint WB shops- this is retail so workers don’t care to help you with water bowls and are so different than regular mall workers. I’ve seen countless negative dog encounters usually with a dad stuck outside holding bags ,kids and dog in the hot sun. For the safety of your pet and others please leave them at home.

This is a big warehouse offering drinks and very limited food for humans. Lots of opportunity for dogs to play and run around inside and outside on agility course, mounds and around sculptures. . With St Louis requiring “memberships” of $35 for any dog parks, Bar k is the best alternative at $17 per visit. Had it not been so cold, and the outdoor food stations open this place would have been perfect. .

Very out of the way. Very small dog park towards the back of a church Parking lot. Went on a Sunday afternoon not a soul around. A sad little place.

I took my dog there after a very long day. While it was not sunny, the place was just a spot off a road with a tiny waterfall. My dog and I walked down to the water and he went in and puttered around. Fortunately he didn’t put his whole body in because when he came out he smelled like raw sewage. It was so disgusting that I had to take him to tractor supply for a bath- and the tractor in Joplin does not offer pet services. I took him to Oasis car wash with a pet spa which I do not recommend.
DO NOT LET YOUR DOG INTO THIS WATER!!!

Small but clean astroturf area to play on. But covered in goat heads so very painful for Fido to walk on.

While tractor may be “dog friendly”. This location does not have a pet washing station which would have been useful after going into the stinky dirty “grand” falls.

Middle of the city urban park. Very nice and clean. The dog park is small but enough room to allow dogs to run with friends. Took dog down to the koi pond to let him see the fish and ducks- hysterical to see his reaction. This was the perfect place to stop as a layover. Note that a noon on Saturdays the tornado alarm system goes off for 20 minutes.
