Parts of the park are off leash from 6-9am and then again from 9pm-1am.

came here with 2 dogs and they brought water bowls for each of them. drinks and food were amazing!

My dog had the best time on the dog-friendly hayride, and all the new smells! We went on a Friday, so it was less busy which was ideal for my dog. Not sure what it's like on weekends, but probably a lot busier with families.

We had the best time doing the 5k and costume contest! There was a beer garden and so many food options. Lots of great vendors. I love that it supports the local county shelter :)

This is a great dog event for dogs and their humans! There was a human and pie eating contest lol. We did the dog nose painting and I love the artwork to bring home. My dog had the best day- he got so many treats and a new plushie! Will def go again.

I come here for nail trims and baths! They always do a great job, and everyone is so friendly

After one walk to this park from our hotel, my dog walked me there every single time we came outside! All the dogs and their owners were so friendly. There are two sides for small and large dogs, and my dog loved exploring. Nice to have a dog beach available year round!

Pet friendly, spacious, and a <15 min walk to the big dog park! It's $35 a night per dog with credit card, but only $25 a night with cash. This was the perfect spot for our mini vacation!

This place can get very busy, especially for dinner. Outside seating is limited. We walked by during the day and saw plenty of open tables outside, and were able to get a table for 3 people and 3 dogs! They were very accommodating and the food was great! We didn't ask, but they didn't offer any water bowls, so removing a bone for that. But otherwise this was a great little place.

This place has the best ice cream and soft serve. They have rotating flavors, plenty of outdoor seating, and pup cups for your dogs!

We went today with our dog pack friends and it was such a fun event! We came home with new treats, and even had professional photos done. Highly recommend :)

Dog-friendly trails and lots to explore. We like to visit the dog park for a little bit, then explore around the trails.

Nice park with wooded or paved trails. There is a small and big dog park, as well as playgrounds and baseball fields.

This is a great dog park, with trails nearby as well. There's a big and small dog side. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the street. My dog loves coming here!

I tried the burger which was delicious, and the staff was so friendly with my pup! They have an outdoor dog friendly patio, but they had no issues with me ordering at the bar with my furry friend. Highly recommend if you’re in Alpine!

Travelling alone with just my pup, it was great finding a spot that welcomed us both! It was hot today and they let the both of us sit inside. They even had their own dog menu, and all the staff was so kind to us. The food was great, and my dog loved his pup burger. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Hotel Fontenot made sure my dog and I had the best stay! My pup was showered in treats and scritchies, and he loved the bed they provided for his stay. Highly recommend!

Most national parks limit where dogs can go (with good reason like protecting the natural habitat). White Sands however lets dogs everywhere except the visitors center. If your dog is like mine and loves digging in the sand, they’re gonna have the best time here! Don’t forget to pickup the Bark Ranger tag and other dog gear in the gift shop and visitor center

The shop has a great collection of dog toys, especially New Orleans themed ones! I was so torn between getting a Cafe Du Monde/beignet toy, but ended up settling on a voodoo doll and a po boy plushie for my dog. He loved the free treats and toys :)
