We absolutely love staying at Heritage Motor Coach Resort, and one of the biggest reasons is how incredibly dog-friendly it is. Our dog, Koda, has the time of his life here — especially on the private off-leash beach. Watching him run freely in the sand, splash in the water (sometimes 😂) and play with all the other dogs staying at the resort has become one of our favorite parts of every visit. It’s rare to find a place that not only allows dogs but truly welcomes them as part of the experience.

Beyond being pet-friendly, the resort itself is stunning. The landscaping is beautifully maintained, the lots are spacious with gorgeous outdoor living areas, and the entire property feels peaceful, upscale, and thoughtfully designed. The amenities are top-notch — from the clubhouse and pool area to the marina access and well-kept grounds — everything is first-class.

What really sets this resort apart is the sense of community. Both owners and renters are friendly, and there’s always someone out walking their dog or relaxing outside. If you’re traveling with pets, you’ll immediately feel at home here. Whether you’re looking for a luxury motorcoach destination to rent or considering purchasing a lot, this place is truly special — for both humans and dogs. Koda gives it two paws way up, and we can’t wait to come back.

We were staying at a nearby Harvest Host location in our RV. Saw the Courthouse listed in our Bring Fido app and gave it a try. Our golden, Kaleb, was welcomed with open arms. He had a great time while we sampled various beers and wines. The owner was so gracious. He recommended some places to visit at our next location and even looked up some of them for us on his computer. We were there right after they opened for the day so it wasn’t crowded but I’ll bet it is a fun place to hang out later in the evening—darts and lots of TVs. I highly recommend!
