Doggo loved the king sized bed. We appreciated the breakfast. Didn’t appreciate that when we reported what we suspected was someone dealing drugs in the parking lot (my partner is an ex-cop), it appeared management made the suspect aware so they could leave before police were called.

Our room was directly above the main entrance to the building, so we heard everyone coming and going until late each night. Some sounded like they’d been out partying and hadn’t adjusted their voices since leaving the club. We also were right next door to the guest laundry, so we heard some spin cycles too.
While the decor is dated and there has clearly been some damage which was repaired somewhat haphazardly (similar to many hotels, even much more expensive ones!), our room was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchenette was a definite plus!
Doggo got treats each day in the lobby, and my partner got (human) cookies too! Breakfast was missing any allergy-friendly options beyond steamed rice and some plain cereal (Cheerios one day and Rice Krispies another day) - no oatmeal, no protein that wasn’t dairy or egg. Overall a moderately nice stay though some room for improvement.

This motel looks ordinary, but the way they’ve refurbished the rooms is truly extraordinary! They really pay attention to details here. Kind and helpful staff, clean and well appointed rooms, and the doggo loved it!

Pet amenities are for purchase - not included with the $75 per stay (up to 7 days) per fee, but that’s really my only complaint from the dog’s perspective. They do provide potty pickup bags in multiple locations on the property, without charge. They gave us a room on the ground floor, close to the end of hall exit so we didn’t have to walk the dog through the lobby every time we took her out. There happened to be a large grassy lot next door (little flags in various places, so it may be built upon soon) to walk the dog, as well as on the hotel property itself. The bed was comfortable. The room was compact but overall well laid out. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and fairly standard fare. Dish and/or hand soap next to the kitchenette sink would have been nice.

Lovely place to stay. Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are luxurious and include lots of thoughtful little touches. The creek is a-ma-zing! Very friendly to doggos!
