We were pretty disappointed to find out that Lake Tahoe wasn't as dog friendly as we hoped....but Tahoe Paddle Sports saved our vacation! They answered the phone immediately and answered all our questions. We booked a 7:30am tour after being told that was the best time. The shuttle was easy to find with ample parking, and they even had a doggy PFD and a dry bag to borrow! Our guide was Alex and he explained some really interesting facts about the lake and Cave Rock, and we even spotted a peregrine falcons AND a bald eagle! We loved seeing all the rocks and fish swimming under our clear kayak. Rio had such a great time, too, and played in the gorgeous beach area before the boarding the shuttle back to our car. Alex also took some amazing photos....I am posting my favorite one! We highly recommend the Tahoe Paddle Sports dog friendly tour!
