I do not recommend

Oh where to begin. We were in town for a dog training seminar with 3 dogs. Found this hotel, as they said they would accept 3 dogs with a $50 per night dog fee which was outrageous, but we had no choice than to pay it. It is odd as we stayed at an AmericInn the night before traveling in with only a $25 per dog fee. Okay, it is what is.

All dogs must be on the third floor, again we knew this going in but what a nightmare get to the third floor and then up and down to get them out. Again we were made aware of this. Never again! The first night we needed an extra blanket and were told to come get it later because they were in the laundry. Okay fine. Stay with me on this.

Then the fire alarm in the room goes off. We have to load all three dogs back in the truck so they can help us get the alarm fixed and off. Nope. The woman at the front desk told us that they were full and they could not move us and they could not fix the alarm and to basically suck it up for the night. Just what every tired guest wants -- to sleep with a beeping alarm all night. The owner happened to be there and found an old battery and handed it to my husband to go fix our alarm. Thank goodness he is tall and was able to stand on the bed to fix it himself. Back to get the dogs out of the truck. UGH, again up to the third floor.

We start very early and asked about coffee around 5:30 am, but they don’t start until 6am and too bad. Most hotels have and would say, let me get a pot started for you. Nope, not them. There is a sign at the front desk that says they do not service your room until day three but you can ask for towels. Again we asked on the third night for towels and a trash bag as we now have 3 days of trash in the room. Again, nope, you have to come back later and get them.

We asked for fresh coffee packets for the room and again the woman at the front desk said use what you have first. They were very old and not usable. She tossed a few decaf, but when my husband asked for regular you thought he asked for her winning lottery ticket. She needs to go to attitude school or not work with customers.

Then twice on Saturday night, which supposedly this property has security cameras, and our truck was nearly broken into. I have proof on my security system that these events happened. I would expect that with the cameras, the hotel staff would be watching for these types of things. Lucky for us, the alarms went off and stopped the theft.

Then earlier that night on the 3rd floor people kept knocking on our door. Naturally with 3 dogs there was chaos. Yet we were told to make sure our dogs were respectful of the other guests and the property. Yet, they allow other guests to bother us and not care. I think I have given enough of a reason to keep searching. I am a business owner myself and thought I should reach to the owners first, but the more I thought about it I wouldn’t want you to have a horrible stay as we did.

Great stay

Excellent pet-friendly hotel. The staff, especially Joe, was terrific. Did allow our three dogs with a fee. Very comfortable place to walk them. Safe and quiet. A few minor things in the room but overall excellent.
