While there are 2 large dog areas, one is currently closed (May 2026) for grass regeneration. The pavilion is in the closed section (and with no trees).
The open section (Lg dog, left side) has trees but the seating areas are not shaded.
There is no splash pad.
Watering stations are shut off Dec-March .
The dog wash area is not enclosed.

The park is long and narrow. Good seating though no covered seating. Separate small & large dog areas. No agility equipment in the park when I was here in December.
The strangest design is there is no water IN the dog areas. The fountain is outside the fence. Looks like you need to bring your own water dish too. Water to the fountain was off in the winter.

I didn’t see a recent review for 2025, so adding an update based on other comments. There are about 25 dogs about this morning.
They have separate large and small dog areas, with lots of seating and several covered seating areas. Sign does say no children in the dog park.
There is no third area for mixed size dog families.
Several mounds are set up for digging. The main problem is water distribution, which is compensated for with people refilling buckets .. about 10 are distributed around from the 1 central water station. The park area is big. They would do well to put in distribution piping around.
There are otherwise no water features/ fountains/ splash pads in the dog park.
The park provides poop shovels, and people bring in/donate bulk plastic shopping bags into tube dispensers for #2 pickup .

Nice grassy fenced in area with 2 picnic tables but no shelter. Only a single run area.

There is a nice shaded pavilion, water supplied throughout the dog run areas, pine shaded areas, a dog wash station, people restroom, lots of sticks in the library.
The volunteers have done a great job maintaining the park; the 5 year anniversary in 2025.

Note the photos in the listing are from the construction period before the grass came in. Both spaces are now fully grass covered.
