Saving grace during the winter!!

We went to Zzas in October of 2023. When a lot of oceanfront restaurant patios were closed for the season, they were open AND dog friendly! We ate on their patio but their website says dogs are allowed inside too. Honestly the pizza was great, the tiki drinks were delicious and they even made a mock tail one for me. The staff were super friendly and they were really nice to our dog. Highly recommend!

Always worth a stop! Some of the best coffee we’ve ever had.

We love three ships. We always go at least a few times when we are in Virginia Beach. The coffee is really high quality, their biscuits sandwiches are phenomenal (get the b.e.c.), and it’s really nice that they have a dog friendly patio space. It is an easy walk from the water to three ships with the dog too.

Really great food, really nice outdoor space and dog friendly!

I’m not a big beer drinker but others in our party are and love Aslin Beer. I personally go for the Izzi Pizza (get the pepperoni and hot honey) and their cheese curds. Their cauliflower wings are also great. Best of all, the outdoor space is huge and dog friendly!!! Definitely worth a visit.

Really great during the warmer months!

We stumbled upon this place and learned their patio is dog friendly (the place next door is not). Food was decent bar food, drinks were ok, but the view and being able to eat by the ocean with our pup was such a huge bonus for us. Our waitress was super nice and offered our pup water. They are not open during the winter months (we’ve tried to go before in late October and in January and they’ve been closed, so mileage may vary.) but we went in early September, since dogs are allowed on the beach after Labor Day, and it was a nice stop!

No longer has outdoor seating Sept 2024

The food is good but we stopped by during Sep 2024 and learned the outdoor patio no longer exists. We ended up getting our food to go and ate it on a bench at the nearby Colonial Lake park, which worked out pretty well. But, if you were planning on patio seating and eating your food right away I’d head elsewhere.

Ok for 2 people but not much to do with the dog

Dogs are not allowed on the trolley nor on the majority of the property, as it is an active farm. The areas the dog can go are really only the parking lot and a little bit of the front area to walk around. Not really worth it unless you are really into tea. The front porch area was nice to sit with the dog, I was able to read some of my book while our dog relaxed, and take turns attending the 12 minute video based tour or if one of you goes on the trolley tour. We did like the free samples of hot and iced tea.
