The staff couldn’t be friendlier, showering our pup with compliments and pets the moment we walked in. The vibe is always lively, with fun, colorful decor and music that’s perfectly on point.

The wines? Light, juicy, all served chilled and easy to enjoy. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back and relax while sipping through their selection. As club members, the free tastings make it an even sweeter deal. If you’re looking for a laid-back, dog-friendly spot to crush some wine, Fresh Garage is it!

From the moment we stepped into this vineyard, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness by every staff member. They made us feel instantly at home, chatting with us and showing genuine interest. We settled on the patio, surrounded by a breathtaking view under umbrellas, with rows of vines and colorful flowers framing a beautiful Bristol garden. The garden was alive with sunflowers, vegetables, herbs, butterflies, and endless sunshine—it was pure magic.

The food was equally outstanding, all seasonal and straight from the garden. We savored a warm array of olives and herbs, a wood-fired sausage, mushroom, and olive pizza, and a fresh, zesty Caesar salad. Each bite was a perfect pairing with the dream-like wine tasting experience.

Afterward, we explored their farm stand, offering locally grown flowers, herbs, veggies, and fruit, all on an honor system with cash or Venmo. It added a charming touch to the whole visit. There was plenty of space for our pup to explore and relax on the grass, making it the perfect spot for a dog-friendly day. This was hands down one of the most beautiful vineyards we’ve ever visited.

We wandered in without a reservation, and while I was checking if we could do a tasting, a friendly stranger who didn’t even work there started telling me all about the wines and the history of the place, which shows how much people love this spot.

Once inside, we were greeted by Nicole, who was an absolute angel. She made us feel right at home, setting us up on the porch with our dog. Our pup got tons of attention from Nicole and everyone passing by, which made the experience even better. Nicole was so personable, and we had the best conversations with her throughout the tasting.

We walked away with three bottles of wine and, honestly, one of the best winery experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re a dog lover and enjoy great wine with an even better vibe, this place is a must.

Everything was within walking distance. The vibe is laid-back, and the convenience of having everything so close made the trip feel stress-free.

The fact that it was just a short block from our hotel made it all the better, and we caught a stunning sunset to wrap up the day. Tucked away yet right in the heart of Solvang, it’s a must for any dog-loving foodies out there.
