Good Place To Stay
Quality Inn Carolina OceanfrontThe photos definitely look nicer than in person, but I have definitely seen worse hotels. The beds were very comfortable and everything was decently clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good and there was a large selection of food!We were on the ground floor and had very easy access to the beach. We came during off season so our dog, Max, could be on the beach at all times. He loved playing in the water!
Loved It! Delicious Food!
CravingsYou would never expect a place attached to a gas station to be so delicious. The hush puppies are a must if you go here. I got the roast beef and cheese sandwich with fries and it was very good. The first thing the waitress did was give Max, our dog, water. Very dog friendly!
Delicious Pizza AND ice Cream!
American Pie Pizza & Ice CreamThis place was so so good. We got a medium pizza and split it between 3 adults. The medium was plenty, and allowed us to have room for homemade ice cream! The staff was SO friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Definitely recommend this place! The patio is dog friendly, so you can bring your dog along and get them a scoop of vanilla ice cream (Max loved his)!
Calm, Quiet, Pet Friendly Get Away
Griffin HotelWe LOVED staying at the Griffin hotel. The rooms were so spacious and laid out perfectly. Our room had a balcony with a view of the pond and it was very relaxing to sit out there and eat breakfast in the mornings. There is also a small walking trail that goes across the pond, and a large hiking trail as well which is about 1.4 miles and is gorgeous. Our dog, Max, loved walking the trail. The hotel is tucked back in behind trees and green grass and you almost feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, while still being surrounded by things to do! There were also two horses that stayed by the fence next to the hotel and our dog loved them, as did we. Overall a great stay. We would absolutely recommend the Griffin hotel!
LOVE IT!
Toby's Dog HouseThis place is a great spot for lunch with your dog. Hotdogs of all kinds and desserts too. Indoor and outdoor dog friendly seating, which we loved in the middle of a hot May Day! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is casual and cozy. My dog, Max, even got a free hot dog!
