We are a small family business called Campsite 204, and we overland with our 2 German Shorthair Pointers. 1 is a service dog, 1 is a family pet. @gsp.fitz @gsp.rogan @campsite204

I wish I took pics but we arrived late at night. The room was SO CUTE!! There is a fenced in dog relief area, and there is a steel dog wash inside there. It was snowing for us so, we didn’t get to use it, but this hotel is MEANT for dogs. There is a restaurant on site and an IHOP in the parking lot (open 24 hours). The pictures don’t lie, it’s exactly as expected. Freaking adorable.

The entire park is awesome, it’s massive. There are 2 dog parks inside, under 30lbs, over 30lbs. There are doggie bag stations but BRING YOUR OWN WATER, lots of it. It’s nothing fancy, just a large open space, flat terrain, probably grass in the summer, it was dead grass when we went in winter. 1 bench, small shade, plenty of parking.

this menu is off the charts. The food is everything you want and more. On the patio they even grow edible flowers and herbs. The food is so clean I would feed it to my dog and my boys do NOT get people food. It’s so ideal for a dog, they bring you water and ice for your pets. Staff is awesome. We stopped on a road trip to Triple Flush Kennel who is the only training facility anyone should ever invest in. Was dreading everything being drenched in green chilis because it’s Albuquerque NM, and this place blew me out of the water. It won’t disappoint you. We promise.

Okay, are you kidding me?! We found this last minute on a road trip, wasn’t sure what to expect. We got in super late. Booking was so easy, place was gorgeous. Checking in late was a non issue, plenty of communication, no confusion at all. When we woke up, we saw its true beauty. I want to live here. I quite literally can’t wait until the drive back to stay again!!
I genuinely can’t say enough good things about our experience. Our dog jumped in the river immediately. The off leash area is perfect for the dog to get his business done, not for running (we have a gsp so he’s a bigger dog). We stayed in the xl tiny home because we did same day booking. 100 times better than a hotel all day every day. You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

The menu was quite large for such a tiny spot. The patio was perfect for dogs. Food was great diner food. Even the gluten free bun was better than most places. If you can believe it, they carry both Pepsi and Coke products! Tater tot’s were bomb. What else can you ask for in a tiny town with 3 spots to eat? 10/10
