After 3 days of travelling with only on-leash walks we were told about the unofficial dog park in Northampton. Our 2yr 9mths Weim was SOOO happy. The trails around the fields and along the river were lovely. We got to meet another walker with a 6 month old lab and the two dogs burned off a ton of energy chasing and playing. An added bonus was the wealth of knowledge his owner was able to tell us about the old hospital which once stood on the grounds, and some of the hidden gems (eg the old ice pond created to make ice for the hospital residents). Note- on Google Maps it is noted as Northampton Dog Walking Park.
