Great Little Beach
Mud Creek Dog ParkVisited with my dog and 3 kids for the first time and we all really enjoyed it. Was hesitant to visit here after reading other reviews but was more then pleasantly surprised.
Water area was a little rocky but not to hard on the feet, and also had lots of sand to run, play, and sit.
When we went it was very quiet and maybe about 5 dogs on the beach. By the time we left there was a handful more. Dogs with their owners all were very nice and respectful of each other.
Was nice to have the kids and dog swim and play together, and not just a dog or kid beach.
Will definitely be returning again.
Quiet Trail
Mt Pisgah TrailHiked the trail with my 5 yr old twins and our pup and enjoyed the hike. Despite there being multiple cars in the parking area off Smith road we did not see any other people using the trail. It was quiet and seemed well maintained. Was pretty rocky in some spots but nothing we couldn’t handle.
Nice Place For A Walk
Cotton Valley Rail-TrailIt’s a beautiful area to walk with your dog. The trail is small and is heavy with foot and bike traffic. Found a boat ramp and the attendant was kind enough to let the dog and my kids wade in the water.
