We love it here. Dog-friendly indoors, patio, and trail access. Plus a free pup cup!

This place is just what we needed for our dog, but the room and common areas could use a little TLC. Nothing crazy, just not where we’d stay if we were dog-free.

We had a good time doing a paved loop here.

Had a great experience here! There is a large patio with multiple sections in the back. We went on a cooler December day and sat in a section that was covered and had a space heater. It was great to have a place to grab a good meal where we could have our dog with us, since we were traveling and didn’t want to leave him at the hotel for too long. One thing to note: there are a few cats that live out on the patio, so this may not be the place to go if your dog wouldn’t do well with that.

We had our dog with us in Waxahachie for a trip to visit family and needed a place to bring him while we grabbed some lunch. We were very glad to be able to grab pizza at Southern Roots and them welcome our dog in with us!
