It's a Days Inn, so don’t come here expecting luxury. The rooms were a nice surprise, they were all recently updated. The staff was friendly and helpful, and suggested dog friendly activities in the area. Continental breakfast is always welcomed, and this wasn’t bad. The area is a little sketchy, but the parking lots have bright lights and the grounds are fairly well kept. Would stay again.

National Parks are notoriously not dog friendly (and I should know, having been to 40 of them)
However, I was impressed with the hiking options for my dog. In the east district, we were able to park at the start of Misa view road, and walk all of Misa View road and Misa view trail (3 miles out and back) In the west district, we were able to hike the Bajada loop road, which was generally quiet and made for a great 5 mile loop.
I would recommend the east district over the west district, but was generally pretty impressed with how much hiking we could do in this national park.

I called before booking the room and was told there was no weight limit, no pet fees, and pets could be left unattended. All of it was a lie. Arrived on site to learn that it’s a 45 lb weight limit, and was thankful that they didn’t require me to bring my dog in because he’s definitely over 45. They charge $10 per night per dog, and dogs can not be left unattended, even in a crate. They would not refund me for my first nights stay if I wanted to move to another hotel, so reluctantly stayed here. Hotel was fine, nothing special. Decent value. Checked out and received the final bill, and they “accidentally” charged me for the pet fee twice. Called and they said that they accidentally charge the pet fee twice often, so look out for that.
