They brought my boy some water and everyone wanted to stop by for a pet. Great place all around

The bathtub didn’t drain. Other than that it was fine but it always bothers me when I’m showering and the water backs up. $20 pet fee.

They were very welcoming. We weren’t able to do the tour. Apparently every time it rains the cave floods and they have to clean it out. She suggested another tour she thought was dog friendly but it wasn’t. Still gets 5 bones because of how nice and welcoming they were.

Super dog friendly. My boy got to see the bears and we had an old timey photo shoot!

My pup and I were welcomed on the bus and there were two other small dogs also. The tour was okay and I think a bit much for what it was. I could’ve done without the political jokes (I don’t align with a political party and these things don’t really offend me but it was pretty annoying.)

I really enjoyed my stay. I’ve been staying at a lot of Motel 6’s on this stay and this place was a great reprieve. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at check-in was friendly and welcoming. For the price, I expected it to be a longer walk to all the action, but it was about a 15-20 minute walk. I also highly recommend Jacob’s Brewhouse for dinner. That was the most dog friendly restaurant I’ve ever been to.

Little Kirby was welcomed everywhere. We sat and ate in the cage and walked around the store. My only complaint is that we got stopped by at least 20 people asking to pet him. In their defense, he’s really cute!!!

The food and service were great. I almost took off a bone for no water bowl but they were very welcoming!

We came in the afternoon so it wasn’t very busy, but they have a bunch of tables outside. They immediately brought over a bowl of water and the food was great!

Not only was the food incredible (I don’t usually get excited for veggie sides but good goopy!), the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. One was even taking pictures of my boy. We sat inside and my boy had something off of the fairly priced dog menu. Not sure if I’ll be in Deadwood again but my first stop will be here if I do!

Patio was great and welcoming. They brought my boy water and the food was great. Five bones!

Dogs welcome on the patio. Kirby loved his chicken from the pup menu!

As far as I could tell, the only place dogs aren’t allowed was in the visitor center/gift shop. My boy loved the sand. He couldn’t stop bouncing.

Everyone in the store wanted to give him treats (asking permission first) and they have pup cups. Very nice friendly staff.
