The Salem location was being remodeled. They gave us a brand new room near a exit door for my wife and I plus our two dogs. The room was exceptional for the price. The breakfast was very good as well.

This is an older property and it shows, inside and out. It is located on the California coast so there will be wear and tear. However if you maintain a property it will hold up. Rust, dirty windows, lack of yard maintenance, the sliding glass door in the room was so corroded it would barely open a third of the way. Except for the prepackaged breakfast options, the rest were nasty. For the price they charged per night plus $25 per pet. This place was comparable to a run down Motel 6. Don't waste your money keep looking.

Friendly staff, great room for my wife and I and our two dogs. Will stay here every time we drive between Washington state and California central coast.
