Our fur baby is a golden retriever named Daisy.

Very nice hotel with a pool and bar in the back. Contactless checkin and check out. Close to Bardstown Square. Visit Evergreen Liquors with your pup.

I wanted to give zero bones but that wasn't an option. We checked in on February 22nd for a 1 night stay. The hotel seemed run down but ok. After a few hours I noticed dead and dying ants in the bathroom and behind the entry way door in room 148. Because we have a dog I didn't want her laying on the floor since obviously some type of poison was used to kill the ants.
I went to the front desk and asked to be moved. The front desk attendant was very accommodating and moved us to room 137. I stopped by that room on the way back to our original room to make sure there were no ants. I checked the mattress corners for bed bugs and there was a big brown splotch on the corner of the mattress. I am not sure what it was.
I called the Hampton Inn to see if they had availability but they were sold out. I asked for recommendations for pet friendly accommodations in the area and the person who answered the phone said there was a Super 8 that took pets and also mentioned the Quality Inn but also stated since he himself would not stay there he wouldn't recommend it. We immediately checked out.
