We brought our pup for her birthday and what a wonderful time! She loved seeing all the farm animals up close , she loved the monster truck, the staff was super nice and friendly, facilities are cleaned, their famous citrus drinks delicious and cost (monster truck tour and food; there is no entrance fee) was fair. We will definitely go again!

We’ve had the previous experience of driving the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive where we have seen lots of wildlife no matter the time of the day. Unfortunately, this time we barely got to see any. Also there are no restrooms facilities along the way and there was a fee (compared to Apopka). The pup still had a great time, of course she loves being able to have window down, head out the window and enjoy the breeze and new smells. It took us an hour to do the loop since we didnt stop much for photos.

Beautiful place just outside of Ocala. Drive from ORL was great (early in the am), there is a fee to enter but worth it to keep it going bc the place is gorgeous. Make sure u dont bring white shoes tho 😅 and do bring water for the pup 🐶

Pros: parking available but best if arrive before 11am, dogs allowed all day, pet wash and water stations, calm beach, well-behaved pups

Cons: small parking area, long walk to shore (20-30 min pending if pup stops for breaks), no shade and no amenities near by once at shore so MUST bring everything needed to keep pup cool and hydrated

We really loved walking in nature. It took us an hour to do the entire paved loop around the entire park. Outside of the walk, not much more to do with the pup. But we did enjoy it :)

Garden is gorgeous and relaxing. Pet friendly in most areas but not all. And a tad pricey. So not something I’d do regularly unless I lived near by and had a membership but a must do at least once. Early Spring when temps are not too hot is best.

Not only you get to see many birds, gators, and other wildlife, you can take your time doing the drive as everyone is patient and there are plenty of spaces to pass other vehicles that have decided to stop to observe their specific interest for a bit longer.

Things to know:
- it is free :)
- only opens during the wkends if weather allows and closes by 3p
- it can take a good 2-3 hrs to do, so make sure to bring plenty of gas and snacks
- restrooms available in a couple of spots along the drive
- my pup lovessss just looking out the window and taking everything in
- dont forget to bring your camera! Plenty of wildlife photo opportunities
- did I mention it is free?!

Took my pup on a boat for the very 1st time and what an experience! She loved it so much! Our visit was during xmas time so weather was wonderful too!
