My Boo seems to enjoy the lake adventures for certain. The cabin seemed brand new, clean refreshing and lovely decor. The bed however was very odd. Seemed like an air/mattress of sorts. I go for comfort and this was not for me at all. Slept horrible but napped the next day.... same horrible sleep again but left early to get home to my own bed. The cabin was literally 1 minute walk to the lake. I let Boo off leash and she was having a ball in the lake.

I was sitting relaxing and had my cabin door open. I felt terrible because Boo ran out to play with an employee of the resort and scared her. Honestly I feel terrible about that. Lesson learned on my part.
I love the mountain air, the smell of pine, the crispness of the evening am early morning strolls were great.

Unfortunately, the pool and Jacuzzi were being rehabbed. Well this upset me tremendously as I always book wanting a Jacuzzi because I don't have one at home. Had it stated that I would have booked somewhere totally different. I was surprised there was nothing for the doggies. No dog bed no bowls nothing to welcome them at all. Staff was kind. Check-in and out were a breeze. Nobody asked me about my stay upon returning the keys so I presumed they didn't want to know or care really. I do ask for more towels because I needed to rinse off my dog; the dog towels were clearly older towels that had dog written on them with marker and each end cut like a rug.

Anywhoo, if my reservation was not already prepaid I would have moved somewhere with more of the amenities I expected. When the resort is finished I can see it being pretty slick. I would love to give them some pointers on some little Fido baskets at check-in though. If they change the mattress I can see staying there on the lake in the future. I spoke to 2 other guests and they felt the same about the mattress. Funny. I gave a pretty high rating because it's not the staff that chose the mattress nor is their fault. Management didn't update to let us know the amenities were limited during this time.

Had a great time. Hotel is very pet friendly indeed. Has a grassy area fenced in area so dogs can be free and get their sniffs in. Also good area in a residential area to walk them. We were out most of days exploring Pioneer Town the JT National Park and Palm Springs. Has a nice hot breakfast available included in our reservation. Our room was perfect size with king bed kitchen couch and fabulous water pressure. I would definitely stay here again 100%. Check-in representative was a real treasure, great customer service both professional and personable. Love the Fido app! Great job HS by Hilton. See you again.

Boo and I love this park! Good size. Several different areas and unique vantage points to enjoy being outside with you doggie.
