Mmmmm
Twistee TreatWho doesn’t love twistee treat! We have visited multiple times, both drive through and the window. The employees LOVE when people bring their dogs! Make sure you get a puppy ice cream too!
Pup Ice cream Cup!
Culver'sOutside seating area isn’t huge but it’s adequate enough. Concrete benches are a bit warm on the behind, but that’s the joys of eating outside. They even have a pup ice cream cup complete with a dog biscuit!
Great Spot To Eat
McAlister's DeliAlways great food, first time dining with the pup tonight, they gave a cup of ice water for the pup. Patio is nicely covered, could use a fan for some air movement but overall a great experience. Not possible to dine alone with a pup as you need to go in and order.
Dog Was Happy
Outback SteakhouseFood was outback quality and prices. Server was great. We had to wait a bit for a server as the outside seating wasn’t being seated. Server got the pup water, she checked on us often. The tables were all dirty as people waiting for tables under were using them to hang out and wait. Overall it was good.
It Was Alright.
DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Grand Key - Key WestWe got a king room with a balcony for the dog to sit out. Room was nice and clean, comfy bed. Dog loved the balcony. Dog was allowed in the lobby and ONLY the outside bar area... even though there was outdoor seating by the restaurant.
Resort fees were high for what you get $28 per night (plus tax... no matter what you book through their site). It was an expensive stay for an “ok” hotel. The walls in the hotel are super thin, which lead to the dog waking up when someone in the room next door banged the toilet seat down or slammed their restroom door. One room next door to us also had the TV on all night which was rather audible though the wall and adjoining door, the person staying on the other side was also on their cell phone... which we could hear everything. Staff were all very friendly and attentive at check in and check out. Parking was plentiful, there were a lot of other dogs at the hotel which was good to see, also easy access to the outside for the potty breaks through the exit stairwell.
Overall it was fine, would I stay there again... maybe... but the thin walls really were a turn off.
