I brought my pup to meet up with friends here, based on a review that said dogs were welcome on the patio. When we arrived, we found that dogs are not welcome in the restaurant or on the patio. They are only allowed at the 3 patio tables set off from the patio, no cover, no umbrella, no fans. It’s a nice spot for a visit, but my dog stayed out in the car with the engine & AC running.

Visited this park around noon on a cloudy weekday. Walked the path around the perimeter, because there were dogs in the park and I wasn’t sure what mood my pup was in. About half the asphalt paved trail is shady, which made it really nice. Observed responsible dog people playing with and picking up after their dogs in really spacious dog parks. Will return again if I’m in the area.

What a nice place to stroll along with your pup! Plenty of shade and interesting plants to see and learn about. We got caught by one of the sprinklers on part of the walk, but my dog certainly did not mind!

I'm In the area for a temporary work assignment and wanted to find a place to walk my dog on a sniffing safari before the afternoon storms. We were greeted warmly by the park ranger who made suggestions on the best walking trails for us this day. It was peaceful and pretty. I thought it was a real nice way to start a Sunday.

I thought this would be a fun, at your own pace walk for me and my pup. I give huge thanks to everyone we encountered for making us feel welcome, but it’s guided tours only and my pup and I have limited attention spans and limited heat tolerance. I would try this again on a cooler day. The tour guide we met briefly was really nice. Very cool little site.
