You can just show up and wash your pup yourself for pretty cheap and they provide the required supplies to you, or you can pay for them to wash your pup for slightly more money, butnan appointment is required for that. The 2 young girls there were very friendly and took great car of Rox! They do not crate here either which was wonderful and she was in and out in just a couple minutes. Will definitely go back next time i am in the area with my furry girl!

Staff was very friendly and bringing my furry girl along with me was no problem at all! We could sit inside the cabin or outside in the open air cars. As long as weather permits, I recommend the open air car for the best experience. Lots of trails to hike on around here as well.

Ticket price includes 2 movies so you can easily spendnall night into early morning here for ~10$. Concession stand had good selection with fair prices. The stand is the best way to support them so please try to do that instead of bringing your own! We sat in the grass in front of our car and watched the movie, but you can easily stay in the car and enjoy as well (bring some rope to tie down hatch if sitting in back of car to be considerate to others)! Can bring your own FM radio or rent one from them for 5$ or use your car radio (if it has FM of course). Recommend going on a weeknight if possible for smaller crowd.

Staff was very friendly and welcomed my furry girl onto the boat with open arms! They constantly checked in on us and brought her water with lots of pets and lovin' included. Everyone else on the boat loved hanging with her and giving her pets as well and she loved every second of it! She also enjoyed bird watching as did I, and it is a narrated tour with lots of good information. Just know that there is a loud horn they sound before leaving which may startle some of our furry friends so take them inside temporarily, if possible, where it is not as loud. The captain will tell you this before sounding it so you are not caught off guard. Also, you may need to carry your pup onto/off the boat or nudge them across if your pup is not a fan of the ramp that connects the boat to land due to the noise it makes and the movement due to the water below. Fortunately Rox did well with those 2 things, but either way, once you are cruising, it is a great time and would certainly recommend!

My 45 pound Boxer mix (Roxie) and I went here last week and had a great time! Bring or buy lots of water if going in the summer as we did as it is a 8 mile journey over 2-3 hours where you pedal this personal metal train car. You can get a 2 or 4 seater depending size of your group. Views were beautiful and at parts you are adjacent to the esopus creek. We had a blast but if possible, I recommend going in fall as the fall foliage would make the experience even better! Please know that this may not be for all dogs as there will be noises from the car moving along the tracks which may startle some, and since you have to pedal and brake, you have to tie the leash to the car itself so your pup does not get hurt or try to jump off, and your hands are free to engage brake. Also, if you bring a decent sized dog like mine, plan on going by yourself in the 2 seater or only occupying 3 seats in the 4 seater so your pup has enough room, especially if they want to stand up and look around and sniff instead of being in a down position the whole time, as they will inevitably get in the way of the pedals at least once otherwise. I would not advise bringing a dog bigger than mine (45lbs boxer mix) as they will have a hard time fitting between the seats with any comfortability, even if you keep a seat free on the car. They do have pedal assist which they eventually turn on, so despite it being 8 miles of pedaling, it was not some intense workout, even in the 90+ degree summer heat. You take a break at the 4 mile mark for a snack and water break while they turn the cars around on the tracks, before going 4 miles back to the beginning, so I found it was best to enjoy the trip 1 way with your pup and just take in the views and fresh air, then take pictures if you wish on the way back.

Hotel was very clean and although they normally charge a $75 fee for bringing a dog, they did not charge me the fee for some reason and I brought a 45 pound Boxer mix who is a decent size. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The bathroom of the specific room I stayed in must have had a recent leak above it because I noticed some drywall issues on the ceiling but other than that, the hotel was clean and cheap for the area. Would go back if needed!
