The food was fantastic and our pup Joey was comfortable and chill in the shade

The hotel has horrible reviews and I'm not going to lie, I was scared. I even called them to speak to the desk and was not eased by that communication. The cost compared to everything else, especially compared to those on Nantucket was also concerning, so the "you get what you pay for" was in the back of my head.

This place was reported to have updated rooms so that's what I asked for, (they are listed in someplace as the "delux" rooms.). The dog friendly updated rooms are delux "double bed" rooms; we wanted a king, but this was fine. The beds were very comfortable, the linens and bedding were perfect. There seems to be a restaurant that's not open yet, it was just updated this past winter. Coffee and tea available.

The pool looked clean, although we didn't use it. It's in a fantastic location right on Main, Street walking distance to everything including the ferry. It was a perfect spot to go to Nantucket for the day and not pay Nantucket accommodation prices. Overall it was perfect, not expensive, comfortable & very clean,
