We can not say enough about this wonderful establishment. Occasionally, one is fortunate to by chance find a true stand out business, such is Mariposa. In the morning Mariposa presents itself as a scrumptious bakery that also offers rich robust coffee as well as two breakfast plate options on the morning we visited. We returned in the late afternoon to find Mariposa transformed, becoming a wine bar with a wonderful vibe, perfect background music and delicious menu items to pair with any wine varietal. What a amazing concept and perfectly executed. This review could not be complete without giving due praise to Moe, the owner and her delightful and perfectly accommodating staff. Zeb, Kee and Shari as well as those in the background supporting this amazing enterprise. If you find yourself in Oriental, do yourself a favor and enjoy everything Mariposa has to offer, you will be glad you did.

We all really enjoyed our time at the Pugh House. Easy check-in, clean and comfy with unique style. This house was built in 1929 and offers a great retro living experience. The location is excellent and the loaner bicycles will get you anywhere you want to go in Oriental. Ashely is a wonderful host and was very accommodating when an unexpected issue arose with our truck that required time at Jonathan's automotive repair shop, FYI a wonderful repair service facility. We would definitely recommend the Pugh House and will stay there again when in Oriental.

We really enjoyed our time at Riverdale. Parking was free and easy. Check-in was simple. Room was spacious and clean with just the right amount of old-time charm. We arrived after hours and didn’t have much interaction with staff, but everything we needed was easily accessible. We didn’t use the ‘Honor Bar’ but what a great idea!! Our Bulldog, Jack loved the short walk to the park and we enjoyed a great dinner at one of the many dog-friendly restaurants (thanks BringFido for helping us plan our dog friendly adventures). If our adventures bring us back to Jax we will definitely stay at the Riverdale Inn. We missed breakfast because we had an early appointment, but the coffee was good and the staff was really accommodating in making sure we had what we needed before we left. Thanks Riverdale Inn!

We all enjoyed our stay in Cullman. Our bulldog, Jack, was especially happy that the AC worked great. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the shower was hot. We’d surely stay again if we end up back in Cullman.
