Educational, entertaining, and enjoyable!
Ghost Tours of Harpers FerryWe did the Ghost Tours of Harpers Ferry last night and had a very nice experience. As the previous reviews highlighted, Rick was a very good historian and storyteller. We actually found the tour via the app BringFido that it was dog-friendly so we brought our dog, who was on her best behavior. (Rick even had a biscuit for her!) Overall it was a great walking tour; educational, entertaining, and enjoyable.
Great Location and very dog friendly
The Rabbit HoleThis was a great place for dinner, so great, we came back a second night. Great food, great services, very nice selection of beers on tap. Extremely dog friendly. Rosie really loved it too!
Great Location and very dog friendly
Holiday Inn Express Charles Town an IHG HotelWe stayed here with our well behaved English Shepherd and had a very nice stay. The Inn is close to Harpers Ferry, which is a dog friendly town for eating, drinking and hiking.
Good overnight if you have a dog.
Econo LodgeWe were on a mini road trip and this turned out to be a great one-night stop. It was a little difficult to find as you need to go through a shopping center parking lot to get there. The stay was pleasant. It's definitely not a luxury hotel; however, we had a good overnight with our dog. It was the first hotel she stayed at, away from home. The staff was very courteous. I felt that every staff member was a "dog person" The hotel was dated, but clean. The included breakfast was your normal hotel fare. We had one glitch as the first room had an issue upon check-in, with the room door, but it was resolved in a few minutes, by getting the room next door. They were doing some work, resealing the parking area, and general repairs. (Not a big deal, we just needed to park a few feet further from the door. If the situation presented itself again, I would return, especially with a dog.
Great wine, great views, happy people, happy dogs
Atwater Estate VineyardsWe found a new favorite winery. Very dog friendly, people friendly, and great wine.
Nice inn. Very dog friendly. Clean. Would stay again.
Microtel by Wyndham Penn Yan Finger Lakes RegionWe had a very nice stay at the Microtel Inn in Penn Yan. The room, lobby area, and breakfast areas were clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. We stayed after visiting a state park and a winery. There is a nice trail, the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail that connects a block or so away. Very dog friendly. We would stay there again.
