I was in Charlotte working for a week and ended up eating here 3 times with my dog. The view of the water from the patio is beautiful. And the food was good too! The staff brought water for Buddy in a little bowl. He loved watching the ducks swim.

We just needed a place to sleep for the night. The only downside was the location of the room - right by one of the exit doors. Which IS great for potty breaks, but we heard it slam EVERY TIME someone came in/out. Other than that, it was all we needed!

We stopped on our way to North Carolina, and I wish I'd planned for a longer stay. This park is HUGE with tons of room for running and nature trails with lots of shade. I was pleasantly surprised, and I think Buddy enjoyed himself too!
