We have been going to Cape May for 25 years and never visited here. We decided to go this year because it was listed as a pet friendly place. We have a small, friendly dog who doesn’t lift his leg or bark at other dogs. Another reviewer said the only building dogs weren’t allowed in was the bakery which makes total sense. We were not allowed to bring our dog into any building except the general store. That employee was very welcoming so that’s what we were expecting. Every building after that we were told we could not bring the dog in. We wandered around about 45 minutes and then just left. I would not recommend this if you’re looking for something you can bring your dog to and have a nice relaxing day. This isn’t it. Any pictures you see of employees holding dogs and smiling is just a photo op. They should be removed from this website.

We did the 1.5 hour back bay cruise a few weeks ago as a family of 5 and our 2 small dogs. Joe was super friendly and welcoming. He made everyone feel at home, even the dogs. They were allowed to walk around the boat off leash he put down a bowl of water for them. they had a great time. The rest of us just relaxed and enjoyed the scenery. It was wonderful. It is a little pricey but worth it because you have the entire boat to yourself so it’s really a private charter and you can bring whatever you want to eat and drink. Highly recommend!
