We have always had a pleasant time at Local Goat. Spacious patio with large umbrellas for the sun. The enclosure helps keep our pups safe. The good selection and delicious food.

We didn’t actually sit at the dog friendly tables because the sun was shining directly on them. We got our food to go. The decor is straight out of the 1950s. They serve classic diner food including a WV favorite, pepperoni rolls. Our dogs enjoyed sharing some of the tasty fries.

We took our two dogs on a historical tour of First Floor South. The guide knew the history very well and was pleasant. All of the staff was friendly towards our dogs . Good place to visit with your dog.

The food was great and there was a lot to choose from. The wings are not breaded and come plain with a choice of sauce. Sauce flights are available. They brought water out for our dogs. The patio is fenced giving an added level of safety for the dogs. We will definitely be back!

My two rescue dogs have participated in obedience, agility, and trick classes. The Good Dog helped us build closer bonds with our dogs and helped our dogs gain confidence and become wonderful pets!
