The trail crosses a stream twice. Your pooch will get wet. The path starts out flat to downhill in the center then uphill to the end. So the hike back was a lot of uphill after we’re already tired. The scenery is fantastic. Bring more water than you think you’ll need. Good trail for birdwatching.

Very crowded on the holiday weekend we were there. The food was fantastic though.

The grounds are lovely and well kept. There's a forest trail on site, a restaurant (dog friendly), a pool, tennis and basketball courts, and more. The cabin was spacious and the bed super comfy. Mini frig and microwave and coffee maker added to my comfort, as did the private patio. Very close to the town center and hiking trails. Also, every place in town is dog friendly. Jerry may have put on a pound from all the shop owners handing him treats ;-)

Spacious room, clean and well maintained property, friendly and helpful staff. The dog was station was a brilliant perk!

Good location, easy to get to from the 101. Clean, friendly staff at check-in. Doggie treats and poop bags provided. Nice grassy area for Fido to do his "business."

Easy paved trail. We only went 1 mile then turned back. Lots of joggers and dog walkers. I am a birder, and I saw a lot of birds and met some other birders on the trail. The trail might get hot in summer for dog paws, but I was there in January and it was lovely.

My pup met lots of new friends..most of them farm animals! The shop is lovely. They have fresh produce, specialty food items, amazing bakery items, and lots of home decor and gift items for sale. What a lovely spot!

The front desk was nice and check-in was easy. The room was very clean and there was a very large grassy area behind the motel for walking the dog. BUT the walls are made of Kleenex and spit. I listened to the guy next door coughing up a lung all night and wondered if covid could move through the thin walls! Their TV sounded like it was in my room.

Delicious food and a special dog menu! I couldn't decide what my pooch should order so the server made a suggestion and he loved it! My food was good too. The only thing I'd like to see is more than one vegan option, but what i had was yummy. Be forewarned: the dogs must stay on the floor. They are not allowed on the chairs.
