Fantastic all the way around!

Dog friendly with dirt areas for to potty, and play a little ball. Food from restaurant was delicious. Rooms were clean and comfy. Great views from pretty much anywhere.

Fantastic good!

Dogs are allowed on the patio which is a nice place and very busy with people. Service was great and quick.

Ehh…

This hotel was not what you’d expect from a Choice Hotel. At first glance through the door, it looks really nice and decorated well. There’s hardly ever anyone at the front desk. The rooms are a little outdated, the door to our room was hard to get open and would not close on its own, and the deadbolt on it did not work. The couch in our room had no padding in it and sunk in about 3 inches, lol.

The linens are dingy (pillows & towels). The hotel gives the impression that half of it is shut down. Pool restroom was filthy and had no toilet paper, no seat covers, no soap and paper towels. The toilet had dry urine all over it. There’s no type of security over the parking lot nor did it seem like anywhere in the hotel was monitored.

As for dog friendly, they do allow dogs, but there’s no real potty area, but there is an open desert-y (lol) area out in front of the hotel that can work. The waste bag dispenser was empty. I was to afraid to eat breakfast at the hotel after reading Google reviews.

Cool hunter themed hotel

The hotel itself was nice and clean and had cool decor.
It was a bummer that the rooms had no coffee machine, and the coffee in the lobby was not 24 hours and it was always lukewarm or even cold. Including first thing in the morning. They don’t have creamer options out during the day either. As for dog friendly, they do allow dogs, but there’s really nowhere for them to play or go potty unless you walk them across the street or down the alley way and across the street for us since we were at the separate location. The “grassy area” is actually a church lol but it seems as if they do allow dogs to potty there as long as you clean up after them since they have a potty bag station.

The other bummer for us was that we tried to extend our stay and even though they had accommodations, they wouldn’t allow us because we booked through a third-party.

Clean hotel

This hotel was clean and the scenery was nice with bonus sightings of wildlife. However, there were many things that definitely could have been better. First, the lobby’s coffee station was a mess, the food/snacks & drinks available were minimal. Second, the room was clean, but outdated and had REALLY thin walls to the point that the people in the neighboring room sounded like they were in our room with us. And the so called A/C and heating unit was a wall unit and barely did anything but was EXTREMELY loud.

Lastly and most importantly, this so called “pet friendly” hotel was not so pet friendly after all. The potty area was behind the building right up against all the windows to all the hotel rooms, and once the sun went down it was pitch black back there. It could really use a light back there. The potty clean up station where bags go was empty, so no bags. Another note is that if you do have a pet with you especially in the winter up to late March there is pretty much nowhere to eat that allows pets as most restaurants and stores close early.
