My fur baby and I were seated immediately upon arrival with our choice of where to sit on the patio. The patio was adequately ventilated, especially for a hot and muggy day. (I don't tolerate heat very well sometimes and I was comfortable.) Melissa, our server, immediately brought out a bowl of ice water for my dog and greeted her with a very warm welcome. My dog doesn't take to new people very well, but she took to Melissa immediately. The food was absolutely delicious and they even let me order a full meal for my dog.

I tend to stick to paved trails with my dog but they're wonderful here and we'll shaded the majority of the time. Watch your pet when close to the creek though, some areas look like trails but fall off a steep cliff to the shallow water below almost immediately. You should definitely check out the red iron bridge though. The scenery around and below it is gorgeous. If you have a small dog though, keep an eye on him/her on the bridge.
