Dog Park Review 🐾🌿

Overall, we had a really good experience at this dog park! The gate looked very secure, and the park itself was HUGE. Conan absolutely loved being able to run, explore, and play. 🐕💙

That being said, I do want to mention accessibility. ♿️ With me being in a wheelchair, there wasn’t an easy way to pull up and enter/exit the areas—you had to go by foot to get where you needed to go. Luckily, my boyfriend was with me and helped, but there were definitely some parts where we struggled. I’d love to see more wheelchair-friendly access in the future.

Also, please read the rules and be cautious when visiting any dog park. A friend of mine was recently attacked while there with her service dog. Thankfully, we didn’t have any negative encounters today, but it’s still a reminder that not every dog is comfortable or predictable around other dogs.

And PLEASE pick up after your dogs! 😅 I nearly stepped in dog poop numerous times today. Nobody wants that—especially someone navigating in a wheelchair.

Despite those things, the park was full of life, nature, and beautiful plants, and Conan had an absolute blast. 🌿🐾

PSA: This is an off-leash-friendly park, but if your dog doesn’t have solid recall yet, I highly recommend using a long lead so they can safely explore while you work on it. 😅

⭐️ Overall: We’d definitely come back! Just be mindful, clean up after your pup, follow the rules, and be respectful of everyone using the park. 🐶💚
