We stayed two nights in this facility. The first night, I left my dog's food on the floor, since she likes to eat at night. When I woke up in the morning it was covered in ants. The ants remained in the room (bathroom, toilet, bathtub, and entryway)during the whole stay since I didn't want them to spray while we were staying there. A pet friendly patio was advertised. There was a sliding glass door (unlocked during our first night's stay since we didn't check it when we arrived). The patio had no barriers to the next room or to the walkway leading to the main street below. There was no dedicated pet area, so there was a lot of us walking around the neighborhood. The remote didn't work. We could turn the TV on, we just couldn't change the channel, adjust the volume, or turn it off. New batteries didn't help. Mystified and frustrated. The housekeeping staff were great. Super friendly and helpful.

Our previous night was spent in a big, noisy, hotel. We had to take the elevator down 3 floors for a potty break. Here, a sweet room on the ground floor, with a dog friendly grass area and a fire pit just steps away. There's not much dog friendly lodging in Crescent City, and paying up front can make one pause, but if this place is available snatch it up. Great breakfast next door, too. Thank you Kevin!
