Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the Lookout cabin. The house was well stocked with basics for cooking. Laundry on site was helpful. It’s a very short drive to Gardiner and the Yellowstone park entrance. We had such a great time that we added a 5th night to our stay. Bed and pillows were comfortable and sheets soft at the end of a long day.

Shawn was helpful in recommending a horse riding outfit and answered all my questions. We pre shopped in Livingston but were pleasantly surprised at the prices and selection at the Gardiner store.
There is a large elk herd that seems to live in the area and was on property every day we were here.
An added bonus for us was that for an additional fee, Shawn watched our dog at her house all day on our day trip down to old faithful. This allowed us to be away seven hours and not worry about the dog.
When we come back to Yellowstone we will stay here again!
