Everyone was so welcoming and friendly toward our pup. We saw a few leashed dogs enjoying a Sunday at Bass Pros. The aquarium is nicely done because the dogs can’t actually access the fish, but can enjoy staring at them. They have a big jar of doggie biscuits at the front counter near the entry turnstiles.

Nice, easy trail circumventing a lake. Lots of foul—geese, ducks, and ground squirrels abound. There’s a park for kids, and to go around the entire lake takes about 30-40 minutes. At one end of the lake, the trail loops to an overpass.

Many trails allow dogs. Some trails allow dogs coming in, but coming back out, there is a “no dogs” sign. However, I didn’t see any heavy scrutiny with policing of dogs. Overall some beautiful trials meandering through the cool, lush redwoods canopy, making for a very pleasant hike.
