This hotel should not even be open. The room was fine but the entire rest of the hotel is under renovation. The first floor was literally a construction site (with danger signs etc); guest registration and breakfast were in repurposed guest rooms. There were no vending machines or ice machines and no hot breakfast. The entire experience was incredibly disappointing for $250 (including the pet fee). LQ should know better and wait until the entire hotel is ready - or at least forewarn guests as to what to expect. We are seniors on a cross country road trip and rely on ice to keep our medicines cold during the drive and the hot breakfast is helpful to get us going for the rest of the day. Not to mention that the construction state of the hotel was just disconcerting, dusty and dirty.
