We were driving on the highway when we spotted this massive pyramid-shaped building and immediately decided to stop!

The store was huge and impressive, and very pet-friendly. It was a great place for my furry boy to practice being around a busy environment and socialize. There were lots of families and children, and I was especially impressed that every child who wanted to pet him asked first!

The staff were friendly, and there are three restaurants inside. Wahlburgers has a pet-friendly patio, although service was minimal during our visit. The Lookout only allows service dogs and charges $8 per person to go up (as of August 2026).

Overall, such a fun and unexpected stop! Definitely worth checking out if you’re passing through.

This is the second hotel I’ve stayed at while traveling with my puppy, and we had a great stay! There is an additional $35 pet fee at check-in. There was plenty of grassy area around the hotel for potty breaks, although we didn’t venture around to see if there were any poop-bag stations, so I would recommend bringing your own bags just in case.

The room was clean and comfortable, and even though there were other guests traveling with dogs, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. That was a big plus for us! I’ve stayed at other pet-friendly hotels where the floors were damp or dirty, which meant I had to clean my puppy’s paws frequently. Thankfully, that wasn’t an issue here. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again when traveling with my puppy!
