The rooms on the first floor open up to the grass which is definitely a plus when traveling with a fur baby. Sure beats having to wait for an elevator or go downstairs to get to some grass. I looked at other dog-friendly resorts on the island but this one was the most appealing since there is so much grass and doors opening to the outside, not an indoor hallway. A bunch of other dogs at this resort. All well behaved. Several doggy poop bag stations in case you forget bags in the room. Lots of paths to walk along. Several beach accesses for everyone to go down and enjoy the beach. Also, don't understand why folks on other posts last year says this resort is outdated, I don't think so. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely enjoyed this dolphin cruise with our fur baby. This among other things on Jekyll Island was why I chose to vacation here for the first time. Staff was friendly and we had a blast! Definitely worth the money for this cruise with your fur baby!
