The menu was huge, with lots of choices of some decadent sounding food, food, but I tried to go healthy with a build your own salad. There were lots of choices to put in your salad and it was very good. I couldn’t resist ordering a soft pretzel with beer cheese. The pretzel was really good, but the beer cheese would have been better if it had been a little thicker. We sat on the patio and the server offered to get water for our dog.

Maggie enjoyed hanging out outside at Camel’s. There were two bowls of ice water at the host station and the waitress offered to bring a bowl to the table. We had the watermelon salad and kale Caesar. . We added shrimp, which was perfectly grilled. The dressings are all made in-house and were all delicious. We were at a corner table, which provided great people watching opportunities.

I visited Wicked Weed with my husband and dog on July 4th. We were there around 2 pm and it wasn’t crowded. We were quickly seated by a pleasant hostess. Before too long, our waitress brought us water and asked we wanted anything else. I wish she had offered to get me a taste of the three beers I was considering, but she didn’t. I ended up trying 2 of the 3 and liked them both. We also had the loaded chips, which were a generous portion and very filling. The waitress didn’t offer water for our dog and acted a little put out when I asked for a bag to put my container of leftovers in. Other than that, it was a good visit.

we sat at the outside bar because the wait for the patio was long. The bartender by didn’t acknowledge our pup, but we saw other dogs with water bowls. We had our own bowl so it didn’t matter. There were lot of other dogs there and we met some very nice people who sat next to us at the bar. The food was good and so was the beer.

Really good seafood for me and outdoor seating for my dog.

We stopped for a quick bite and our dog was welcome on their covered patio. I had a tuna melt, which was warm tuna on toast. I thought a tuna melt had cheese, but this didn’t; however, it didn’t need it. My husband had the BLT, which he enjoyed. we also had curly fries and sweet potato fries. Both were tasty. We ended with a small ice cream that came with two generous scoops. of yummy ice cream. The restaurant is very old timey. Just what I would expect footsteps from the beach.

Based on reviews on Bring Fido, my husband and I went to The Shack for lunch on our first day in OOB. I had a salad that came with nice looking lettuce, onions, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, carrots, and mushrooms. I also added lobster. It was 4 oz. of meat, which was plenty. I got blue cheese dressing on the side, which was just average. My husband had the fried scallop BLT with maple mayo. He really enjoyed it. I had a bite of his scallop and I agree. He got a side of fries that he requested be well done. They were nice and crispy, but a bit too salty. We managed to eat them all between the two of us, however. All of the seating is outdoors but undercover. They allow dogs on the lower level. Our waitress was very sweet and efficient and offered water for our pup. It was a nice find!
