Very fresh seafood. Typical clam shack. Order at the window and eat on picnic tables. Surprisingly good fish chowder. Very tender and sweet fried clams lightly battered. Reasonable prices. Seasonal operation. Many pups attending and having a great time.

When we walked in, we asked to sit on the outdoor patio. The manager was called and he gave the usual speech about board of health regulations. He said that the rules applied to the entire restaurant including any outdoor spaces. He added that it was "just like smoking" you con't do it inside or outside. Bringing my dog compared to smoking? We just turned around and left without further comment.This is a chain, so the policy may be company wide. However, this guy may be just enforcing his own policy.
