The first time we came to the Lost Dutchman was for the dog costume contest in October. So fun! They have a huge outdoor area that’s super dog friendly. Love it!

This hotel sits in a really nice location, not too far from Monterey or Santa Cruz. The hotel itself is a get-what-you-pay-for situation. The room wasn’t the cleanest, and neither was the potty area for the dogs (the poop wastebasket was overflowing), but it worked for a weekend trip to the beach.

I visit this place anytime I visit Santa Cruz. You may have to wait in the queue for a bit, but the food is worth it! Very dog-friendly patio and staff! Never been disappointed!
