Staff was very friendly and clearly were pet friendly. Rooms were a bit roughed up by previous 4-legged tenants (people, train your dogs, crate your dogs when away, and take responsibility for your damages). Water out of faucet was a bit brown, and cigarette burn mark in bed linen. Was scary checking in after hours — had to talk through a 4”x1” closeable window, yet I still needed to walk my dog outside in the same neighborhood. But, everything worked out and everyone I encountered was nice.

Took a quick detour here. They allow dogs to walk on leash through the park and the outside sites. We were told if we wanted to tour inside, we could kennel our dogs in their kennel and take the key with us. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time to try it out. We did enjoy a long walk with the dogs in the gentle breeze in a beautiful location.

Had lunch here on the patio. It’s a very dog-friendly place (4 well behaved dogs were there, including mine). They serve good food. Watch for the flies once you get your food — it’s the South and October, you can’t escape them. Also, be careful if there are black palm berries on the deck near the left side (right side didn’t have any). Not sure if these are toxic or not, but I know my puppies wanted to gobble them all up - if you aren’t sure, better safe than sorry.

My family had dinner here on the patio last week with my two fur babies, a Border Collie and Golden Retriever puppy. The hostess, server, and staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, providing the dogs with iced water and lots of love. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The location is directly across the road from the beautiful waterfront. Loved it!

BIloxi Lighthouse itself is located in the middle of a heavily trafficked Street. Lighthouse is small compared to others, because it was constructed of cast iron. The park is located not adjacent to the pier, but across the street to the side of the court house. The park is nice and dog friendly, but keep dogs on a tight leash near the lighthouse and pier as the auto traffic is heavy.
