Great Campground
Sun Outdoors Moab DowntownShady sites for RVs and tents very close to downtown Moab. Two dog areas, and nice area in the campground for walks.
Friendly Dog Park
Moab Bark ParkNice, big, shaded park with fresh water supply. Friendly locals with their friendly dogs.
Dog friendly and Good Food
The Blu PigVisited with my GSD Coco. Big, covered patio. Great service. Brought water for the dog. Barbecue was good, big portions.
Nice Park
Dog Park at Sunset ParkI visited this dog park while passing through Las Vegas on a road trip to give my GSD Coco some exercise. It was pretty clean (although I never let her drink the water in dog parks) and there were a lot of dogs her size. She had a blast playing with other dogs and their owners. I had a hard time getting her to leave.
The ONLY Trail that allows dogs
Pa'rus TrailI just visited Zion, in January, on my way to Salt Lake City. I knew the park was not dog friendly, and this is the only trail that allows leashed dogs. It was a nice walk along the river with some great views. Very uncrowded in January! But not the best this park has to offer. I'll go back another time without Coco.
Perfect location not a great park
Dog Park at Pioneer ParkThis part is very close to the hotel I stayed at (Crystal Inn, dog friendly), and it was an unexpected surprise to find it here. Very cold day, but it was just big enough for some running and ball chasing. Lots of homeless around. Park was reasonably clean with bark surface. Not sure how it would be in the summer, might get muddy if not maintained.
